Dan Levy pays tribute to 'Schitt's Creek' co-star Catherine O'Hara

"Schitt's Creek" star Dan Levy is remembering his beloved co-star Catherine O'Hara following her death.
O'Hara's manager confirmed the news of her death Friday to ABC News.
The legendary actress, whose career spans decades of work, is known for her role as Moira Rose on the Emmy-winning television series, "Schitt's Creek," which she starred in alongside Dan and Eugene Levy and Annie Murphy.
Dan Levy paid tribute to O'Hara in a moving Instagram post Friday evening.
"What a gift to have gotten to dance in the warm glow of Catherine O’Hara’s brilliance for all those years," Dan Levy began. "Having spent over fifty years collaborating with my Dad, Catherine was extended family before she ever played my family. It’s hard to imagine a world without her in it. I will cherish every funny memory I was fortunate enough to make with her."
He ended his message saying he is thinking of O'Hara's husband Bo Welch and sons, Luke and Matthew Welch.
"Schitt's Creek" ran for six seasons from 2015 to 2020 and originally aired on the CBC in Canada before making its U.S. debut on Pop TV.
The show followed the rich Rose family as they found themselves forced to give up their lavish lifestyle and move to a town in the middle of nowhere called Schitt's Creek.
The family experiences culture shock at first, but their experience slowly turns into growth as they each learn self-reliance, empathy and what matters in life.
"Schitt's Creek" made history in 2020 when it swept all the comedy categories at the 72nd Primetime Emmys, taking home most of the top prizes from writing to directing and outstanding comedy series.
Eugene Levy, O'Hara, Dan Levy and Annie Murphy also won in each of their respective categories for their performances as the Rose family -- Johnny, Moira, David and Alexis, respectively.
