Nicole Kidman brings daughter Sunday Rose to 2026 Met Gala
Nicole Kidman is a co-chair for the 2026 Met Gala.
Nicole Kidman hit the 2026 Met Gala red carpet in New York City on Monday with her 17-year-old daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban.
The mother-daughter duo ascended the Met Gala steps together and were among the first to arrive.
The event marked Sunday's Met Gala debut.
Kidman, a co-chair for this year's event and a brand ambassador for Chanel, wore a red sequined Chanel gown with feathers, styled by Jason Bolden, while her daughter wore a pink Christian Dior Haute Couture gown with floral appliques, according to Vogue Australia.
The pair were all smiles as they walked the carpet and posed for photos together.

"For me, fashion is art. I wanted something red because I wanted to embrace the way in which red has been used in art through the years," Kidman told Vogue about her Met Gala look. "I feel that it's a strong symbol for love, for passionate love, vitality, for power and motherhood -- and I have a springtime blossoming girl here."

Speaking about her look, Sunday added, "I wanted to symbolize something blooming. It's my first Met."
Kidman said her daughter had been "so calm" leading up to the event, adding that the teen still has to go to school tomorrow morning, despite the festivities.
"By 8 a.m. -- keeping it real," she said.
Kidman shares Sunday with ex-husband Keith Urban. The former couple also share daughter Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, 15.
Kidman shares two elder children, Connor Cruise, 31, and Bella Kidman Cruise, 33, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
Co-chairing this year's Met Gala with Kidman are Beyoncé, Venus Williams and Anna Wintour.
