Retailers are giving discounts to military members, veterans and their families.

Memorial Day honors American military personnel and celebrates the lives of those who died while serving their country.

The national holiday marks the unofficial start to summer and also brings with it a robust lineup of promotions for both active duty military, veterans, and the public, some of which also give back to service members and their families.

Check out some of those deals below, from dining out to last-minute grocery deliveries.

7-Eleven

7-Eleven is offering discounts for Memorial Day weekend.
7-Eleven

The quick-service convenience store chain is offering Memorial Day promotions including $4 meal deals for rewards members at 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes.

The options include a breakfast bundle -- which comes with a sandwich, waffle tots and select energy drink -- $4 wraps like the Chicken Bacon Ranch, and $4 sandwiches such as a Japanese-style egg salad and Italian sub. 

Customers can also get $20 off $30+ orders through the 7NOW delivery app with code MONDAY20.

Benihana

From Friday, May 22, through Monday, May 25, Benihana will offer a complimentary entree to Gold Star families, veterans, active duty military and first responders as a thank-you for their service. 

Guests can choose from a select five-course teppanyaki menu that features hibachi steak, salmon or chicken.

The offer is valid for dine-in only and requires the purchase of an appetizer or starter. To redeem, guests should present a military ID, veteran ID, or proof of employment for first responders.

Blaze Pizza

On Monday, May 25, Blaze Pizza will donate $1 from every 11-inch pizza sold at participating U.S. locations to Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization that funds scholarships for families of fallen or disabled military members and first responders.

Fogo de Chão

The popular Brazilian steakhouse restaurant is offering 50% off Full or Indulgent Churrasco meals for military veterans and active-duty personnel from Friday, May 22, through Monday, May 25.

Any additional guests in their party will also receive 10% off those same meals. 

Gopuff

Grocery prices have been soaring, but Gopuff is offering some relief for the start of summer with multiple promotions on the grocery platform all weekend long on select party essentials:

  • Spend $25, save $5 on select Kraft Heinz brand products

Nothing Bundt Cakes

The bakery chain is helping make Memorial Day hosting and gifting sweeter with an offer for rewards members to earn 525 bonus points with the purchase of any cake for delivery from May 22 through May 25.

The offer is limited to one transaction during the given time period.

Yogurtland

Rewards members can earn double points over Memorial Day weekend on in-store food and beverage purchases from May 22 through May 25.

Yogurtland is also offering 20% off orders on May 20 as part of its monthly anniversary perk for loyalty members.
