New Costco hours take effect, here's which memberships are impacted
Some shoppers will get to enjoy an hour of shopping before other members.
Costco will open its doors earlier than ever for certain membership tiers with a new policy taking effect.
Costco begins early hours for executive membership shopping
Costco's "VIP hours" for shoppers who have an Executive membership allows them access into the big box store an hour sooner than other members.

The new policy, which had a soft launch in June per Costco's website, to give "exclusive earlier shopping hours for Executive members" was initially only available at select warehouses, and will now take effect across all stores.
In an email to members earlier this year, Costco said its locations would open at 9 a.m. exclusively for upper-tier members for an hour.
Costco confirmed via email to ABC News on Monday that the new hours listed below have gone into effect.
Executive Member Shopping Hours
Weekdays (Monday – Friday): 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Sunday: 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.

Additionally, a representative for Costco said that "U.S. warehouses will stay open one extra hour on Saturday, closing at 7 p.m. for all members."
How much are Costco memberships?
Executive members pay $130 per year, which the company increased last September.

For U.S. and Canada Gold Star, Business, and Business add-on members pay a $65 annual fee.
Costco operates 882 warehouses, including 609 in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, 108 in Canada, as well as e-commerce sites.
