Amazon announces $25 Thanksgiving meal box with turkey, sides and dessert

Thanksgiving dinner just got a little more affordable thanks to Amazon.

The retailer announced Monday that it is offering a complete Thanksgiving meal for $25 this year, including a turkey, as well as ingredients to make classic sides and dessert.

The meal specifically includes an 8-pound Butterball frozen turkey, Ocean Spray cranberry sauce, Stove Top stuffing, Kraft macaroni and cheese, McCormick turkey gravy mix, ingredients for green bean casserole and more.

"Customers love the convenience of getting everything they need for the holidays delivered so they can come together with family and friends," Jason Buechel, vice president of Amazon Worldwide Grocery Stores and CEO of Whole Foods Market, said in a press release. "Amazon makes it even easier for customers to put a delicious meal on the table."

The $25 meal deal is available through Nov. 26, while supplies last, in areas where Amazon offers same-day fresh grocery delivery.

In addition to the boxes, Amazon says it is also offering additional Thanksgiving savings, including frozen turkeys for 79 cents per pound through Nov. 26 and fresh turkeys for 99 cents per pound from Nov. 14-26.
