Butter Squishy

Butter squishy toys had a banner year, so dressing like one is a fun way to have a clever, timely costume. Pair butter yellow sweats (your own or the ones below) and use a Cricut iron-on patch or piece of cardboard to print the word "butter" directly onto the sweatshirt. You can also add pillows underneath for the true "squish" factor!

Erling Haaland

Erling Haaland might not have won the World Cup, but he certainly captured legions of new fans this year. Pair a jersey you or your kids already have with his name on it or pick up a new one and add knee socks, a blonde wig and a Viking helmet to complete the look.

Dolly Parton

The world mourned the loss of Dolly Parton earlier this year and she's sure to be a popular pick for costume of the year. Pick up a Western-inspired shirt, boots and belt and add a blonde, curly wig or do up your own 'do to pay homage to the queen of country music.

Jimothy

The viral raccoon on everybody's mind this year is also about to become one of the best costumes of the season! This one's easy, too: Throw on gray sweats and socks, add a cheap eye mask and gloves for the outfit, then stuff a pillow in your shirt to create his signature rounded look. You can also cut ears from a scrap of felt and use the sleeve of an old shirt stuffed with socks and wrapped in black tape for the finishing touch.
