Homeless man spots Hossein Nayeri after jail escape, 8-day manhunt ends: Part 8
Matthew Hay-Chapman said he'd read about the fugitives in a newspaper. He saw Nayeri exiting an allegedly stolen van in San Francisco, hundreds of miles north of the jail, and reported him to police.
