1 dead, 'significant damage' to Abu Dhabi gas facilities from falling debris

One person is dead and four others were injured at a gas facility where falling debris from an interception started two fires, Abu Dhabi's media office said Friday night.

"Significant damage was also inflicted on the facilities, and assessment operations are still ongoing," the Abu Dhabi government media center posted on X.

"This incident resulted in the death of an Egyptian national during the evacuation of the site, while four individuals sustained minor injuries: two of Pakistani nationality and two of Egyptian nationality," the post said.

1 crew member aboard downed fighter jet rescued

One crew member aboard the downed fighter jet has been rescued, according to a U.S. official. The aircraft was a two-seater F-15.

The status of the other crew member is unknown, according to the official.

1,368 killed in Lebanon since March 2, health ministry says

Israeli forces have killed at least 1,368 people and wounded another 4,138 in Lebanon since March 2, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.

Over the past 24 hours alone, 23 people were killed and 98 others were injured, the health ministry said Friday.

Among those killed were 125 children, 91 women and 53 health sector personnel, according to the health ministry.

Kuwait blames Iran for attacks on desalination plant, refinery as air attacks continue

Iran continued to fire dozens of missiles and drones at Gulf countries on Friday, authorities announced.

Kuwait's Armed Forces responded to 26 drones and nine missiles during the past 24 hours, with Iran's targets including a desalination plant and a refinery targeted, Kuwait's Army General Staff Headquarters said in a post on X Friday.

In the United Arab Emirates, air defenses "engaged" 47 drones and 22 missiles, including 18 ballistic missiles launched from Iran, the Ministry of Defense said earlier.
