Distinguished actor Sam Neill is most known for his portrayal as paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant in the 1993 film "Jurassic Park," a role he would revisit for several sequels. Neill started acting in his native New Zealand and Australia before becoming an international success. Neill starred in a number of films and TV series including "Event Horizon," "Thor: Ragnarok," "The Tudors" and "Peaky Blinders." He received several acting accolades throughout his career, as well as being appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire. He was 78.
