The high-stakes midterm elections are just days away, and candidates are making their final pitches to voters.
There are several key House and Senate races that could determine the balance of power in Congress as well as significant races for governor around the country. The elections could ultimately determine how effective President Donald Trump's agenda is in the back half of his second term.

Iowa Rep. Miller-Meeks to attend Trump rally Sunday in Dubuque
Iowa Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, running in one of the most competitive districts in the country, will attend President Donald Trump's rally Sunday in Dubuque, Iowa, a spokesperson told ABC News.
Notably, the Congressional Leadership Fund, the primary super PAC helping Republican House candidates, reportedly withdrew financial support for Miller-Meeks in mid-October. The congresswoman only recently reversed her position on the Iran war by voting in favor of the war powers resolution in September and did not attend Trump's Sioux City rally on Oct. 22.

El-Sayed and Stevens no longer campaigning together Sunday
Democratic Michigan Senate candidate Dr. Abdul El-Sayed and his former primary rival Rep. Haley Stevens will no longer campaign together on Sunday, Michigan Rep. Debbie Dingell said.
El-Sayed and Stevens were due to appear together at a Detroit church with Rep. Jim Clyburn.
In an interview on CNN on Saturday, Dingell said the ongoing drama between the onetime primary rivals "has become a total distraction" and that she asked Stevens not to attend the event on Sunday, denying reports that El-Sayed's campaign had told Stevens not to attend.

Dingell said Stevens is a "strong and passionate Democrat" who she said will vote for the Democratic ticket.
On Wednesday, Stevens' fiancée Jason Turkish told a reporter at the Detroit Times he planned to vote for Republican candidate Mike Rogers, citing what he alleged was antisemitic rhetoric from El-Sayed.
Shortly after Stevens appeared on CNN to address the matter. She reiterated that she still planned to vote for El-Sayed but called on him to condemn two ads that she says hurt the Black and Jewish communities.
One of the ads, which blamed high grocery prices on ongoing U.S. support for Israel, was made by a super PAC.

When asked by a reporter Saturday if he condemned the ad at the center of the controversy, El-Sayed replied “I am for getting money out of politics, putting money in your pocket, passing Medicare For All. You guys love to play the condemn game. I've already been clear that that ad was not made by me, and I do not agree with the contents of that ad."
Asked if he wanted Stevens to appear with him at the event on Sunday, El-Sayed replied "I've been very clear that I would rather not distract from the key issues of this campaign.”
He added, "I just really don't think any of this matters. It's not really of relevance to Michigan voters."
